If they just make the drifting how it was in Payback I'd very happy. I think they got it just about perfect (within the limitations of the Ghost era platform) and they shouldn't have messed with it, because we all know how rough drifting was in Heat.

I’m stoked. I spend most my time threading some insane drift lines in free roam so new drift anything will be sick. I play on series X so I can’t get drift mod. So makes it even better to hear drift handling updates. Heat was even better for drifting options. Not tracks and points.

you might be into the project forza plus mods for the motorsport games on the 360, it fixes a ton of issues with the stock games, and adds plenty towards realism, and making the games run great, you just cant put any decals on your cars, you can paint them all you want, just no pictures or strips, at least as of yet. thats a xenia issue though, and if you can get these mods running on real hardware (pretty sure you can) you wont have any issues with creating liveries. all i know is, the physics in these games is why ahead of gran turismo 4, so this is my new favorite way to drive with my thumbs.

Personally, ill log back on for the mustang, try the new handling, then realize i have to do things i dont want to do for mustang. Realize cops are pointless and might as well play sweatfest, then realize they killed the crew 1. Then I'll go back to heat, that I've been really enjoying for the past 3 months. Hopefully hot pursuit update can bring cops alive in some form.

need for speed is losing in the avenue of simulator compatibility. carx is dope, but if NFS could outdo carX in physics and controls it would be the meta game

If this is the new Drifting the whole thing just died to me if they replace it and don't make it a choice cause this is just Car x Drift if you want that go play that don't ruin another Game by making it a Clone of something else. I like Unbound Drifting is it easy maybe but if you set the Car up right it can be a lot of fun I surely don't want that Car x Drift screw the front of the Car to the Floor and and have the Back slide all over the place type Drifting if they wanted to make it harder Shift's Drifting was more Simcade but still fun honestly anything is better then this Car x Drift and Beamng or whatever its called we have frozen lake roads in the middle of summer type Drifting.

@blackpanthaa I love drifting on, carx and forza, and I drift on carx, all the time with my drift team, but it does get boring sometimes, and I love NFS, but all I do in Forza and carx, is drift with my team.

To be honest, if Namco doesn't plan on making a new Ridge Racer, I wish they would just sell it to Raw Thrills or Milestone S.r.l. Raw Thrills created Super Alpine Racer, and Milestone S.r.l. created Screamer.
